Palm Springs Air Museum
Our October event was touring the Palm Springs Air Museum. We spent a lot of time going through the Women in Aviation exhibit which features lots of information on the WASP program as well as information about CVC 99's founder Jackie Cockran.
We toured all of the exhibit halls including their new exhibit of the F-117

Maria Felix
Maria has started her flight training! Working with Palm Springs Flying School she has logged 15 hours so far. 99's member Meagan Wood was flying her plane recently and heard Maria talking with ATC during her training,
Our chapter is purchasing a Aviation Headset for Maria to help with her training.

Willow Kirk
Willow applied for and was accepted to the Air Force Aim High Flight Academy that was held in Riverside, CA at the California Baptist University July 10th-30th. During her training she logged 15.9 hours of flight time in a Piper Archer G1000
She also logged some time on a FRASCA Flight Simulator.
